CELLUVISC is a substitute for tears, and contains the lubricant called carmellose sodium. It is used to treat of the symptoms of dry eye. These may be soreness, burning, irritation or dryness. Celluvisc 0. 5% 30 X 0. 4m contains carmellose sodium which is known as a lubricant for the eyes. This lubricant forms a viscose transparent eye gel that leaves a moistening film on the eye and can be used as artificial tears.
